Hard to believe i'm reading this stuff for the 1st time just now. Those who put ideas out there for discussion, publicly, should get free movie passes, and maybe the last bus seat....
I'm with DJ Esus re: the trickle-down, although the last paragraph reveals a closet bulemic.
Full speed ahead!

bush (the recent admin) wasn't architect of the radical "anything goes" capital machination currently grinding the economy... err... job creation to a halt (i mean... wall street has made back 60% of their crash losses already, but jobs are still hemorrhaging).
bush the recent did help forward this mess in big ways, but going backwards we have clinton and his push of deregulation and "free-trade" (neither free nor fair) and his surging the strength of the world bank and world trade organization, two entities that have acted to financially crush most of the world in the name of profit.
Before that we had bush sr who only helped to grow and enrich the house that regan built. Much of our economic woes can be traced back to reganomics, which after years of proving itself not to work in any egalitarian or democratic function, is still the foundation of our 'trickle down' (hahaha) economy... the only trickle 95% of us in the US get is from down the leg of the big man whose wetting himself in laughter as he rolls around like scrooge mcduck in his towering weath vaults.

and lastly... while i enjoy your blog, i would like to offer one bit of writing advice/critisism; perhaps leaving a piece overnight and then reapproaching it / editing it the next day would help better flesh out and organize a complicated set of ideas such as what you present here in a more digestible manner.
