I have been performing in Danbury based bands since 1994 and now run Sub Rosa Party – a booking and promotion agency in Danbury, Connecticut. I am lucky enough to enjoy a full hour and half each week on WXCI 91.7FM Western Connecticut State University Radio that I enthusiastically use to spin the best artists performing downtown and beyond. Listen live on Mondays from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, as well as to the rebroadcast that streams all week long here. Safe To Swim Weekend, an outdoor/indoor multistage/multiday music festival, was created in 2008 and enjoyed two incredible years – bringing some of the most talented independent artists on the road today to our city’s venues. My decision not pursue a third installment of the festival has led to some much needed downtime. I’m just about ready to introduce the newest appendage of Sub Rosa Party and I am eager to continue shouting about the live performances that are happening in your backyard.
