Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend a performance of “Annie get your gun” at Danbury High School.
What a performance it was.
Our students were absolutely terrific. They were professional at all times, and the DHS Orchestra was awesome. The set designs were simplistic but perfect to give you the feel of the wild west.
DHS staff members Cindy Nejame and Paul Riley should be commended for their outstanding work with our students and the DHS staff.
Recently, education spending and our education budget have come under criticism, but on Saturday night our school system and our students set a new standard–worth every nickel.
Bravo DHS, Bravo… well done.
