Clean City Danbury Day

That’s right, it’s the most wonderful time of the year..

The time when you get to throw out all of that junk that has been accumulating in the basement or your garage.

We are are also asking our residents to please throw away any litter or trash that they might have on their sidewalk or in the road in front of their home. By working together, we can have spring get off to a clean and green start.

As always, dumpsters will be set up in strategic locations throughout the city where residents can drop off their bulky waste and metal free of charge from 8 am to 12 pm.

For a listing of locations of the drop off points, click here.

Finally, we are recruiting volunteers and community organizations to conduct litter control on our streets and roads. If you or your group would like to volunteer, contact Roger Palanzo at 203-797-4511.

Special thanks to Winters Brothers for all of the free hauling and disposal!
