The Byram Neighborhood Association will be hosting “an evening with the candidates” to be held on Thurs. Oct. 1st at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall of St. Paul’s Church at 286 Delavan Ave. We will provide the candidates with important topics concerning Byram and the Western Community. The candidates will have an opportunity to address these topics and we will take questions from the membership to ask the candidates at the end. I urge you to make a point to attend. And ask that you spread the word.
The event will be covered by Greenwich Community Television (Channel 79) and they have graciously offered to provide an audio and video feed to a room at the church where a Spanish translation will be provided. This will be the first time Greenwich Town candidates have addressed the community in Spanish so I urge everyone who prefers hearing in Spanish what they have to say about important Byram issues to attend. Your attendance will also serve to let our leaders know that the Hispanic community is very interested in town government and getting involved in Greenwich. You do not need to be a member of the BNA in order to attend this forum.

La Junta de Vecinos de Byram (BNA: Byram Neighborhood Association) será el anfitrión de “una tarde con los candidatos”, el Foro de Candidatos que se celebrará el Jueves 1ro de Octubre a las 7 pm en el Fellowship Hall de la Iglesia de St. Paul ubicada en el 286 Delavan Ave. Nosotros le proporcionaremos a los candidatos temas importantes relacionados a Byram y la comunidad occidental. Los candidatos tendrán la oportunidad de abordar estos temas y vamos a tomar las preguntas de los miembros las cuales se tratarán al final. Por favor asegúrese de asistir. El evento será transmitido por Greenwich Community Televisión, Canal 79, el mismo ha ofrecido amablemente en proporcionar una transmisión de audio y video a una sala en la iglesia donde se proveerá una traducción al español en vivo. Esta será la primera vez que los candidatos de la ciudad de Greenwich se han dirigido a la comunidad de habla Hispana.
