Byram Shopping: Cynthia’s Unique Store / De Compras en Byram: La Tienda Única “Cynthia’s”

Byram is filed with small, family-owned shops and businesses that offer a great alternative to shopping the chains in central Greenwich – the increasingly high-end chains.  With Christmas coming, everyone in Greenwich should make a trip to Byram to check out the very unique items available at very reasonable prices.  I plan to write about as many of them as I can.

I had the pleasure of visiting Cynthia’s terrific store at 219 Mill St in Byram.  Owner Cynthia Hahn  has been selling

Cynthias storefront jewelry, handbags and other accessories since she opened the store in September 2006.  Sterling silver jewelry is a specialty, and I’ve included some pictures below of a lot of the items she sells.

Cynthia is always in the store.  Hours are:

10:30am to 5:00pm Tuesday, Wednesday

10:30-7:30 Thursday

10:30-6:00 Friday

10:00 – 5:00 Saturday,

but if you want to come later or another time, just give Cynthia a call on 203-531-5937 and she’ll open the store for you.

Cynthia’s and Heaven’s Wings, which sells angels, ornaments Nativity sets, serving pieces, candles cards and lots of gifts, are holding a Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 28th from 10-5.  They will be serving refreshments and if you go into either store now you can pick up a flyer that’s also a coupon for 15% off through November 28th.  Don’t miss it.

Below is a shot of Tera Delvecchio shopping at Cynthia’s.  That’s Cynthia behind the counter.

And Nicole Bowman shopping at Cynthia’s.  She bought a purse because she only has 150 black purses and badly needed another.

And here’s owner Cynthia Hahn, who is delightful.

10:30 am a 5:00 pm Martes y Miércoles

10:30-7:30 Jueves

10:30-6:00 Viernes
