I couldn’t resist visiting Second Chances, Byram’s terrific consignment shop, today. I wanted to get this post up on my front page on the same day the print Greenwich Time has the new Greenwich Ave. Ralph Lauren store on its front page. With Ralph Lauren clothing available in abundance at most department stores everywhere does it really matter that we have a big RL store on Greenwich Ave? The really unique stuff is available in Byram and Second Chances is my favorite example of that. 
Where else could you find these two dresses my wife Nicole Bowman is holding up?
Second Chances is a consignment shop selling vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles, lighting, furniture and lots of jewelry. Owner Mindy Levy Salinas, pictured below, told me there’s a story behind every piece in her store. Her hours this holiday season are:
Monday-Saturday 11-8
Sunday 12:30-5

Second Chances is located at 103 Mill St. in Byram, which is just before you cross the bridge, next to the liquor store. You have to stop in there to see up close what she’s got, but I’m going to post a gallery of pictures I took today so you can browse.
