John Bowman has lived in Greenwich since 1962 and attended Greenwich public schools K-12 and has an accounting degree from Fairfield University.
He has served on the RTM from Chicahominy and Byram and is currently a RTC associate. John’s father, Russ Bowman, is currently on the RTM from Byram.
John has been involved in issues related to I-95 since 1996 and has helped get safety-related legislation passed and other improvements implemented. He is interested in State issues and has contributed to the statewide Ctlocalpolitics.net blog.
A member of the Byram Neighborhood Association since it was founded, John currently serves as its secretary.
John’s blog appears in English and Spanish, hoping to welcome the large Hispanic community in southwestern Greenwich. Replies in Spanish are encouraged and English translations will be posted.
