What's Bruen

Melissa Bruen is a multimedia journalist for The News-Times, a Hearst Connecticut publication.
She received a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Connecticut.
Born and raised in Massachusetts, she begrudgingly admits she fell in love with NYC after moving to Danbury, but vows to maintain her loyalty to New England sports teams.
Her interests include movies, traveling, photography, painting and reading.
