Through strong teamwork and crisp passing, the New Canaan Pride U9 boys soccer team scored an 8-3 home win over Fairfield on Saturday.
The combination of Bobby Mushkin, Nicholas Lambrinos and Jack O’Donnell combined for eight goals. Peter Miller and Charlie Wright had a big hand in linking the defensive and offensive play.
In goal for the first half, Jack Harrison acted boldly when called upon and made some great saves. The Pride relied on strong defense anchored by William Bozzella, Doyle Catlin, Ford Beck and Peter Vigano.
In the second half, goalie Beckett Walters made a diving save of a penalty kick to help the Pride put together another win.
