The Hoyas defeated the Panthers 26-12 in Darien third grade boys basketball action, thanks in large part to an impressive offensive attack which was led by Matthew Minicus, Daniel MacLehose and John Fiorita.
At the other end of the court, the defensive stars of the game for the Hoyas were Brady Campbell, Christopher Schofield and Luc Smith.
The Panthers’ Austin Peck and Jack McDermott showed great hustle on both ends of the floor, while Chase Lombra grabbed a few key rebounds inside. Kyle Haas and Bruno Coppe added some scoring, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the offensive display put on by the Hoyas.
