The Cardinals needed a second half comeback to overcome a tough Bruins team this past Saturday for a 15-6 win.
With the Bruins leading 6-5 at halftime, the Cardinals offense came to life in the second half with 10 straight points. Liza Klingman led all scorers with nine points and Isabella Speranza had four key fourth quarter points.
Tatum Eades started multiple fast breaks and added two points for the Cardinals. Livia Cleary was efficient running the offense, while Sofia Keilitz and Annabelle Baird played great defense. Meg Nedder and Rebecca Hayes each grabbed multiple rebounds for the Cardinals.
The Bruins scoring was provided by Caitlin Neafsey, Alexis Lyons, Gabbie Wilson and Livie Punishill. Samantha Bellingham and Madison Decarolis played solid defense for the Bruins.
