The annual Connecticut United Ride, a motorcycle ride honoring those who lost their lives and those who gave their lives on 9/11, took place Sunday with hundreds of participants making their way from Norwalk to Bridgeport.
Reporter Genny Reilly, and photographer, Phil Noel, were at Seaside Park where the ride ended. The ride was sponsored by the Connecticut State Firefighters and traveled with a police escort. Full details and photos will be online later today and in Monday’s edition of the Connecticut Post. A video of the event, filmed by Genny Reilly, is already online.

Mr. Shirley..the ride begins in Norwalk and ends at Seaside. I too disagree with no bikes in Seaside as I am a city resident and would like to freely ride my bike and enjoy the sights of Seaside. However, the ride is a worthy cause as I have ridden in it every year. It is not a matter of favorites. You should look it up.
How can you have a motorcycle ride start in a park where there are no motorcycles allowed? Seems to me that someone is playing favorites. Plus they are sending mixed messages also.
