We got several calls today from readers who were wondering who were the lawmakers playing solitaire as the House of Representatives debated the budget.
We asked Ken Dixon, our reporter in Harford, who ID’d them as Barbara Lambert, D-Milford, and Jack Hennessy, D-Bridgeport.

All I can sid is ‘SHAME ON YOU’ how can you do such a thing, to a wounded country. It is a great country, that needs lots of help to get out of trouble, and all you do is play cards.I’m not a college graudet .But I have more sence than you do.
So let’s find out where they are in the election cycle, live up to OUR responsibility, and FIRE THEM!
Is that not Cafero speaking in the background? I suppose a Republican has nothing to say that interests a Democrat.
If you watched the proceedings, you would know that Cafero nailed it in his speech. The arrogance of the Democrats-in-name-only (DINOs), aka the Socialist America Party, (SAPs), epitomizes all that is wrong in this country today.
Bottom line? No Jobs=No Tax Revenue.

I feel these two should be given community service to pay back the people of CT for the time they wasted, time we pay them for.
This is disgusting. I work hard to pay these people to work for me and this is what I get in return?
They should be immediatley fired. I know that is what would happen to me.
Better yet. Give them a shovel and send them out to the job site with me. They can work off the money they wasted at the same rate we pay all of our labor. I should have them for a couple months by my calc.
