MILFORD — No word this morning on the fate of the kayaker who’s been missing off the Milford shoreline since early Sunday.
The search was scheduled to resume early this morning for Michael Krupa, a 22-year-old Middletown resident who, along with a friend, was dumped into Long Island Sound after their kayak flipped over. The pair began swimming toward anchored boats nearby off Charles Island, but only the friend — a Milford man who has not been identified — made it to one of those vessels.
A search by Coast Guard, Milford fire and police crews, and others yesterday yielded no sign of Krupa.
The search was to resume early this morning, but no sign so far of the missing man.
