  1. I can’t believe the stupid people in Shelton re-elected Lauretti. He is being investigated by the FBI. That doesn’t happen unless you’ve done something. What is he going to do run the town from jail? These people only care their taxes are low- forget about things the town really needs done that he refuses to do. Shelton should have a term limit for the position of Mayor. I wonder if he is going to give himself a nice healthy raise again while the actual workers for the town scramble to make ends meet.
    Sheltonites, you are boneheads!

  2. No bonehead here. I like Lauretti and yes, keeping taxes low in this greedy society is important. Middle class get ripped off left and right to no end. Maybe you have money to throw away, many people don’t. I want my taxes to stay low.

  3. If Lauretti gets name by Botti, then all those stupid people who voted fro him will make the whole town pay for his defense team, wonder then if they did the right thing!

  4. to shelton resident:

Who’s greedy? Maybe a mayor who MAY have taken bribes for favors? Maybe residents who don’t want to put up their fair share to keep the town in shape? “I’m just sayin’…”

Chris Jones was Shelton’s chance to move forward, not stay stagnant. Oh well. I guess I’m fortunate enough to have moved out of town years ago. I don’t have enough money to get the mayor’s attention anyway.
