A section of Route 110 in Shelton near East Village Road is closed due to a motor vehicle accident reported around 5:11 p.m. The road was, at one point, apparently closed in both directions.
Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route, since it’s estimated it will take a while to clear the road.
The accident is close to the White Hills Shopping Center and not near the section of Route 110 that was closed for hours two Sundays ago due to a massive pileup. That accident took place closer to Indian Well State Park.

Route 110 in Shelton??? Wasn’t there a little fender bender there bout 2 weeks ago? Dollars to donuts ice on the road was involved. What will the DOT say about this one? I know….it must have been gremlins, yeah, that’s the ticket
