The Stratford Town Council Monday night named the new Stratford Little League Fieldhouse at Short Beach in honor of State Rep. Terry Backer.
Backer assisted in securing funding for the construction of the fieldhouse.
He has represented Stratford since 1993 and is currently serving his ninth term.
How about the Soundkeeper scam he’s been living off of for the last 20 years or so? Who’s idea was it to name the fieldhouse after him anyway?
Terry Backer is also responsible for deregulation of our electric utilites which led to our having the highest rates in the US and the poorest service leaving hundreds of thousands of CT residents without service for over a week. Way to go Terry you are the political hack of the 20th and 21st centuries!
