SHELTON — A moped driver was injured Thursday night in an accident on Howe Avenue at Cornell Street.
The moped driver sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to police.
Details were sketchy shortly after the 9 p.m. accident, but police said the driver of the other vehicle did flee the scene.
The accident happened when the moped was hit when the other driver attempted to make a left hand turn.
