State Senator Kevin C. Kelly (R-21) attended a business tour and met with employees during a town hall meeting at Connecticut Distributors, Inc., located at 333 Lordship Boulevard in Stratford on Monday, May 21st.
“I enjoyed meeting with individual employees, retailers and wholesalers of liquor at Connecticut Distributors to listen to their thoughts and concerns,” said Senator Kevin Kelly. “It is by speaking with job creators and workers that we gain a better understanding of how best to create jobs and improve our local economy.”
Connecticut Distributors President Brian Albenze and about 60 employees, retailers and wholesalers joined Senator Kelly at the company for the tour and town hall meeting.
“Families throughout the Greater Bridgeport area benefit from local, well-paying jobs,” continued Senator Kelly. “Connecticut Distributors is an excellent example of a company providing jobs to our neighbors during these tough economic times.”
“The members of the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of Connecticut and Connecticut Distributors thank the senator for taking the time to visit our facility,” said President Brian Albenze. “We are grateful for his service to our community and appreciate his willingness to listen and learn about our industry.”
“I look forward to helping local retailers by incorporating their ideas into future legislation to keep and create jobs in our community,” concluded Senator Kelly. “I must also thank everyone at Connecticut Distributors for the very warm welcome.”
