Suspect sought in Cumberland Farms holdup

|

FAIRFIELD — Police are seeking a lone suspect who held up the Cumberland Farms convenience store at 975 Kings Highway at about 4 a.m. Monday.

Detectives say that the same individual also attempted to hold up the Andros Diner on Villa Avenue, and, on Bridgeport’s West End, a McDonald’s restaurant and a gas station, also before sunrise on Monday morning.

He is described as a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken. Police say that they’ll review security video later on Monday.
