MILFORD — The Dept. of Youth and Family Services is running its “Rent-a-Kid” program again, which it has conducted for more thanĀ 20 years now.
The program connects Milford Residents with youth between the ages of 12 to 17 seeking temporary, part-time jobs such as yard work, mowing lawns, gardening, raking leaves, computer help and babysitting, mentoring, shoveling snow and other odd jobs.
Milford Youth and Family Services maintains a list of youth who are looking for part-time work. The program assists youth in acquiring valuable work experience, a sense of responsibility, accomplishment and self-confidence.
Interested Milford residents can contact Christie Roche, Program Coordinator, at Milford Youth and Family Services, to have an available youth get in contact with them.
