Bridgeport’s street facade improvements

BRIDGEPORT — City residents will be doing their part Saturday to get neighbors involved in cleaning their own communities.
While they try to change the litter mindset, city officials are spending state and federal funds on trying to clean up the facades of businesses in older buildings.

The next few projects will be properties on East Main Street that applied to participate. The properties get new windows and doors and the city gets rid of those horrible roll-down gates. Instead, they install shatter and bullet-proof film.
