The city’s street improvement program will launch Wednesday, weather permitting, with the milling of Grey Rock Road, Rainbow Road, Valley Avenue and Grenelle Street, officials said Friday.
Nearly 25 streets in all 10 City Council districts will be milled and resurfaced through the program.
“We have established a comprehensive street paving program that is focused on enhancing roadways throughout the city and improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods,” said Mayor Bill Finch. “Thanks to the City Council members, the Public Works Department and the feedback from residents, for their efforts in helping us continue to improve the City’s infrastructure.”
During roadway improvements, residents and drivers can expect intermittent street closures and temporary parking bans while crews are working.
