2 Senior Citizens arrested with pot

WESTPORT-It was only a motor home that rolled through a redlight.

But when police looked inside they found marijuana, hash and hydrocodone.

Police charged Thomas Howard, 73 and Nora Clark, 65, both of Colorado with possession of narcotics; possession of controlled substances; possession of narcotics with intent to sell; possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of narcotics not in a proper container. Bond was set at $10,000 each and both will be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court Tuesday morning.

Oh yes. Howard was also issued an infraction for failing to obey a traffic signal.

The incident occurred around 12:37 p.m. at the intersection of Riverside and Treadwell Avenue.

Police used a drug-sniffing dog. They found 144 pills identified as acetaminophen and hyrdocodone; three bags and two smaller containers of marijuana; three syringes of liquid marijuana; three plastic containers of has; marijuana smoking piples; a marijuana grinder and $4,131 in cash.

Leave the hippies alone… how do you make the jump from stopping someone for rolling a red light to searching the motor home. Guess there isn’t much going on in Westport… How about searching some lockers at the high school… Sure you’ll find much more than what was listed in this posting..
