Person shot on East Side

A person was reportedly shot in the foot on in the area of Orchard and Spring streets late Monday night.

According to scanner reports, the shooting happened at about 10 p.m. The victim said that he was walking in the area when two men jumped out at him and fired a single shot before fleeing.

The victim said that the attackers were dressed in all black.

Officers said in scanner reports they had recovered a single bullet casing near Orchard and Spring streets shortly after the incident. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

Police were still investigating the shooting late Monday. The identity and condition of the victim were not immediately available.

    Are you effin kidding me? This is news? It is if there’s a gun involved. There are plenty of examples of lives being saved EVERYDAY because of a gun but you’ll never read about them here in the Bloomberg Post.
