A Bridgeport mother was arrested early Wednesday morning after police said she stabbed her 17-year-old son when he refused to take out the garbage.
Police said that 34-year-old Jacqueline Morris stabbed her son in the back during the dispute. The son then walked to a relative’s home on Jackson Avenue, where officers met him.
Morris was charged with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a child and disorderly conduct. Her bond has been set at $10,000. Her son was treated at the hospital for a stab wound.
