BRIDGEPORT — A bar patron who police say had one too many allegedly damaged a black Range Rover belonging to the owner of Tiago’s, a downtown restaurant, after he was asked to leave by a bouncer for making a nuisance of himself.

Police say that after being shown the door, Anthony T. Navarro, 27, of Pearl Harbor Street, then punched the SUV several times causing a dent about 7 inches in diameter. After being transported to Police Headquarters, he told one of the cops that he would “take care of him” if he found him off-duty. The incident occurred around midnight on Friday.

Navarro, whose right arm carries a “praying hands” tattoo according to the official report, was charged with criminal mischief and breach of peace, and his bond was set at $2,500.
