No. Your ears don’t deceive you.
It is former shock jock Jerry Kristafer. Nor do your eyes. He’s the morning DJ on WJMJ, the Archdiocese of Hartford’s Catholic radio station.
Kristafer started his new gig Nov. 4. But don’t expect a return of laughing Clancy or Penny the Time-Telling pig. The Archdiocese said Kristafer be playing “uplifting music and motivational messages” as well as “connecting to listeners with a variety of songs and shared experiences.”
He replaces Bruce Stevens.
This all comes just a month after WDRC showed the 59-year-old Kristafer the door. Previously he had stints with WELI-AM, KC-101 FM, and WAVZ-AM.
WJMJ can be heard on FM Channels 88.9, 93.1 and 107.1. The station begins its fall fundraising Radio-thon Nov. 7-11. All contributions are tax deductible.
