Well, you’d better let up while driving through Norwalk.
The city’s police department said this week that it has purchased several new portable radar signs that can show a driver’s speed and collect traffic data.
The signs will be put out in areas where residents have complained about speeding drivers so that the department can measure the problem and decide what to do.
Solutions for the speeding problems include keeping the signs in specific places for a certain amount of time to sending officers out slow people down with lights and sirens.
The department says the new signs were purchased with a federal technology grant.
