Police say a suspect’s boyfriend and her 8 year-old daughter used their cell phones to take video of the woman’s attack on a rival.
A woman flagged down a police officer on Christmas Day to report that she had been beaten up by the suspect, who was upset becaue of a relationship the victim had with the suspect’s boyfriend.
Madeline Roque, 33, and Jamar Price, 24, both of Front Avenue in West Haven were charged with breach of peace, risk of injury to a minor and conspiracy to commit assault, police said, and Roque was charged with assault.
Roque’s daughter and Price each made video recordings of the attack, said Sgt. David Tammaro, the West Haven police spokesman. The videos are considered evidence and cannot be released, he said.
Roque is being held on a $25,000 bond. Price’s bond was set at $10,000. The two will be arraigned Jan. 7 in Milford Superior Court.
