Republican Greenwich businessman Tom Foley, who three years ago lost a nail biter of a race for governor to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, is expected to announce a second try at the Republican nomination for the state’s top elected position during a press conference Wednesday in Watertown.
Foley is scheduled to make his intentions knows during an event at VFW Post 201 at 1338 Baldwin Street in Waterbury.
The race for the Republican nomination already includes Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton and State Sen. Minority Leader John McKinney, D-Fairfield, who at last count led GOP hopefuls in fund raising.
