Milford police bust massage parlor employee

|

The owner and an employee of Kung Fu Massage on the Boston Post Road were arrested Wednesday after police said the employee offered to perform a massage on an undercover officer.

The arrest came during a compliance check of the city’s remaining massage parlors, Officer Jeff Nielsen said. A state license is required to perform massage services, and the employee did not have one, police said.

The employee, Guilan Guo, 52, of 147 38th Avenue, New York, N.Y. was charged with Engaging in Massage Therapy without Proper License, and was released on a $1,000 bond.

The owner , Quiju Xia, 48, of 146-61 32nd Avenue in Queens was charged with Allowing an Employee to Perform Massage Services without a Proper License.

Xia was released of a $5,000 bond.

Both women will be arraigned March 25 in Milford Superior Court.
Both are scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on March 25, 2014 regarding the above charges.
