Arcade Fire lost their head in Bridgeport

|

BRIDGEPORT – The city’s good name may be at stake after someone apparently stole one of the band Arcade Fire’s bobble head masks during the March 18 concert at the Webster Bank Arena.

Rolling Stone reports that a giant papier-mâché model of band member Richard Parry’s head went missing after the show here.

“Richy’s bobble head mask was taken from our show in Bridgeport, CT,” the band told Rolling Stone. “This mask is a one of a kind piece that is an essential component to our live show. We have photos of the theft but rather than press charges we would prefer if the person who took it would get in touch with us to return it. Perhaps this is all an innocent mistake and you meant to leave the venue with your own oversized paper mache rendition of Richard Parry’s head? Please contact: info@quest-management.com with any information.”

Police Department Spokesman Bill Kaempffer declined comment pending further review.

The Bridgeport show was the last U.S. Reflektor stop for a few weeks as the band heads to Mexico City on March 28th.
