The Cheesecake Factory opening in Trumbull

|

TRUMBULL — The Cheesecake Factory will soon open its second Fairfield County location.
The new store, already approved by the town’s Planning and Zoning Commission, is expected to open its doors in the Westfield Trumbull Mall in the third quarter of this year, according to Alethea Rowe, the franchise’s senior director of public relations and brand management.
“Westfield Trumbull is a wonderful shopping destination and The Cheesecake Factory is pleased to be joining its impressive roster of tenants,” she said.
The restaurant chain already has restaurants in the Danbury Fair Mall and in West Hartford.
The Cheesecake Factory will be located near both Lord & Taylor and Target. The 9,500-square-foot site will have both exterior and interior mall entrances.
Hundreds of jobs will be created by its opening.
“The exact number will be determined closer to our opening date but on average we hire 300 staff members for our new restaurants,” Rowe said.
The site will have seating for 280 people.
“The Cheesecake Factory is our number one most requested restaurant,” said Paul Sabina, marketing director for the mall, “and we are happy to continue to provide shoppers with the stores, restaurants and overall shopping experience they are looking for.”
