Milford gas station robbed at gunpoint

Update, 4:30 p.m. Saturday:

MilfordMilford police say a masked man brandished a handgun while robbing of a gas station late Friday night in Devon.

Police say the robbery was reported at about 10:52 p.m. The man allegedly took money and packs of Newport cigarettes before fleeing the store. No was injured during the hold up.

The suspect is described as a white man, standing about six feet tall and wearing a denim jacket.

Police in Milford are reportedly searching for a man who held up a gas station in an armed robbery Friday night in the Devon section of the city.

DoingItLocal.com reports (http://goo.gl/tLuEMQ) that a white man wearing jeans and a denim jacket fled on foot after robbing the gas station at 25 Bridgeport Avenue.

The robbery happened around 10:45 p.m. Friday night.
