Students were sent home early after the campus was locked down for nearly two hours.
Bridgeport police directed traffic as the school buses arrived at the high school on the city’s East Side.
State Police were at Bullard Havens Technical High School on Pallisade Avenue in Bridgeport on Friday morning, investigating a “vague threat” against the school, officials said.
Bridgeport police set up a perimeter around the school and the building itself has been placed in lock down.
Principal Richard Cavallaro was not available for comment, his assistant said.
Kelly Donnelly, the spokeswoman for the state vo-tech high school system, said while the school continued to operate normally, no one was allowed to leave or enter the campus.
