A 19-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested Monday and charged with robbing a Shelton hotel at gunpoint.

Shelton police say Lancelot Supersad Jr. and another male walked into the Residence Inn on Bridgeport Avenue on June 26, brandished a firearm and demanded money.

The pair fled in a vehicle driven by another person. No one was hurt in the incident.

Supersad Jr. was charged with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He is being held on a $75,000 bond and is due in Derby Court on Tuesday.

Earlier this month, Supersad was arrested in connection with an armed holdup at a TD Bank office in Westport.
