The City of Bridgeport government offices including City Hall, Margaret E. Morton Government Center, the Health Department, Parks Department, all Senior Centers and libraries will close to the public at 11:30 a.m. today. Firefighters extinguish Shelton house fire

Shelton firefighters responded to a fire at 945 North Constitution Blvd. Saturday morning. The fire reported shortly before 11 AM was in a second-floor bedroom. The fire was knocked down at 11:05 AM.
