Poll time

|

Better late than never, here’s this week’s Register poll.

Of note, we’ll get another No. 1 vs. No. 2 showdown Tuesday night when Fairfield Prep and Hillhouse square off in Hamden for the SCC title. That’s three 1 vs. 2 matchups this year between the schools, if you’re scoring at home.

Otherwise, the poll was essentially unchanged and nobody moved into the Top 10. Bunnell and Central are close, finishing 11th and 12th — but still a long way from No. 10 Wilbur Cross.

Bunnell, the top seed in the SWC tournament, plays Kolbe Cathedral Tuesday in Newtown. Central plays No. 3 ranked St. Joseph in the FCIAC semifinals Tuesday at Fairfield Warde.
