Greenwich High School graduates Kyle Feeney and David Dickson have helped the Bucknell lacrosse team have a strong season and the duo’s efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. Feeney, a junior goalie for the Bisons, was recently named to the All-Patriot League First Team, while Dickson, a freshman midfielder, was an All-Patriot League Second Team selection.
Feeney has made 162 saves for the season, already 25 more than his previous high. His .570 save percentage is ninth best in the nation and his 8.53 goals per game against average ranks second in the Patriot League.
Dickson, an All-American selection at Greenwich High last year, has made quite in impact in his first year at Bucknell. He is tied for third on the team for points with 39 (14 goals, 24 assists) and leads all Division I freshmen in assists. The high-scoring Dickson has earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors three times this spring. Bucknell (9-6) is seeded fourth entering the Patriot League Tournament and will visit top-seeded Colgate in the first round on Friday at 5 p.m. The game will be aired live on the CBS Sports Network.
