Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch, who was threatened with an NFL fine or ejection if he wore gold cleats to the NFC Championship game two weeks ago, took the field for warmups Sunday before Super Bowl XLIX in the shiny shoes.

He wore them throughout the Seahawks’ stretching session and back to the locker room. We’ll see whether he risks a hefty fine by wearing them for the actual game.

Updated: Lynch changed to regular green shoes for the game.
