Bandapalooza concludes with four bands on June 16

Bandapalooza on Bedford Street will conclude with performances by four local bands on Thursday, June 16, 5-11 p.m., the Stamford Downtown Special Services District has announced.

The winners of the competition will go onto open at Alive @ Five on June 30 and July 7. Black Taxi, a New York rock band that won the June 2 Bandapalooza event, will open for Third Eye Blind at Columbus Park on Thursday, June 23.

The June 16 Bandapalooza event will pit Stalking Sally against The Mike Cusato Band (competing  to open for Lee DeWyze at Alive @ Five) and The Adam Currie Band against The Mad Things featuring The Good Doctor (competing to open for MC Hammer at Alive @ Five).

Stalking Sally and The Mike Cusato Band were initially scheduled to perform on June 9, but the concert was rained out.

Bedford Street in Stamford Downtown will be closed to traffic on Thursday, June 16. For information, visit the DSSD.
