The program will be led by certified sommelier Sally Camm (pictured) who will talk about the history of Zinfandels and what foods pair with this world class wine.
Camm is the national wine educator for Diageo Chateau & Estates, a London-based international beverage alcohol company; and a member of the Guild of Master Sommeliers.
The event will feature wines from Paso Robles, Sonoma and Lodi and the Sierra Foothills, provided by Nutmeg Wine & Spirit Shoppe of Woodbury. The wines will be paired with local cheeses and four appetizers based on West Coast recipes.
The shop supports local farms and small batch producers by featuring locally made cheeses from Cato Corner Farm in Colchester and Beltane Farm in Lebanon.
