Sing with Chicago at Foxwoods, help fight breast cancer

When Chicago (above) hits the stage at Foxwoods Resort Casino on Sunday, April 29,  one lucky fan will have the chance to rock with them. For the third straight year, the band has teamed up with the American Cancer Society to auction off a chance to sing with the classic group.

Fans across the country, including attendees of the Foxwoods show, will be given the opportunity to bid on a package that includes a meet-and-greet with Chicago, two premium tickets, backstage passes and a moment in the spotlight singing the classic hit song “If You Leave Me Now” onstage with the band during the concert. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society in its fight against breast cancer.

Bids for the package are now being accepted online.

“We so are pleased that Chicago is offering this amazing opportunity for the third straight year, and that the band remains dedicated to using their musical talents to help us create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays,” Terry Music, chief mission officer for the American Cancer Society, said. “What an exciting way for our supporters to fight breast cancer and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience onstage with a legendary band.”

Previous winners were so moved by the experience that they launched the Facebook group “I Sang with Chicago,” where they shared stories about their concerts, and videos of themselves on stage with the band.

Tickets to the April 29 concert, which cost $55-$35, can be purchased online or by calling 866-646-0609 or 800-745-3000.
