Grammy Award-winning soul singer Jennifer Hudson will headline the 15th anniversary of the The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation Fall Gala at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich on Saturday, Oct. 27, according to an announcement Monday.
The event will honor Clive Davis, a five-time Grammy Award winning record executive. Davis will be presented with the MMRF Spirit of Hope Award, presented annually to individuals who “inspire hope with their perseverance in overcoming personal obstacles,” according to the MMRF.
“I am proud to participate in this tribute concert for Clive Davis to benefit the MMRF – an organization that has helped so many patients and families affected by this devastating cancer,” Hudson said in a statement.
All funds raised will support the development of life-extending treatments for multiple myeloma, an incurable blood cancer.
