Eric Clapton’s ‘Crossroads’ film to be screened in Danbury

This goes out to all you Eric Clapton fans out there.

Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival 2013” will be shown in nearly 500 theaters for one-night only on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and Danbury’s AMC theater is one of them. The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

The film will also play at City Center 15: Cinema de lux in White Plains, N.Y. at 7:30 p.m.

The festival, which featured the likes of Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers Band and Keith Ricchards, was recorded over two nights at Madison Square Garden in April.

Rounding out the concert line-up are: Blake Mills, Booker T., Buddy Guy, Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall II, Eric Clapton, Gary Clark Jr., Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Keith Urban, Los Lobos, Robert Cray, Sonny Landreth, Vince Gill and Warren Haynes.
