The last time we saw Tamara Loyola, she looked stunning in a white lace Danielle Caprese gown, giddily anticipating the day when she would walk down the aisle.
But as the date of her wedding drew near, the 31-year-old Bridgeport bride developed a serious case of “dress regret.”
“I looked at (the gown) a million times, I tried it on again and again,” she said of the gown. “It was beautiful, but it was very princessy. I needed to change it.”
So, she set out to find a new wedding day ensemble — a deadline decision captured in an upcoming episode of TLC’s “Say Yes To The Dress” airing Friday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m.
After appearing on the show in February, Loyola returns to Kleinfeld Bridal to choose a new dress — this one, a Pnina Tornai gown with a drop waist and sweetheart neckline.
Loyola thinks she’s found the right fit, but then, she encounters another dress dilemma: it’s not the right color. She puts in a request for a different hue, but she’s nervous because she has no idea how it’s going to look.
Said Loyola: “Once you have it, its ordered and that’s it.”
Tune in on Friday find out if the she says “yes” to the dress.
And if you want to help a Bridgeport firefighter: Loyola is the wife of Edgard Loyola, a Bridgeport firefighter who fought the raging blaze that damaged four buildings on the city’s East Side on Tuesday. His colleague, Richard Minfiel, was one of the victims whose home was destroyed.
