Celebrating an anniversary — and bacon — at Bridgeport’s Acoustic Cafe

|

The proprietors of Bridgeport’s Acoustic Cafe are celebrating their fifth year of owning the Fairfield Avenue venue with music, friends and yes — bacon.

The fifth anniversary bash will pop off on Sunday, Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m. with performances by Connecticut musicians and Acoustic Cafe regulars Remember September, Ada Pasternak, PJ Pacifico, Tom Crowley & The Speakers & Darian Cunning. There will be a few surprise guests, to0.

The show is free. Bloody Mary specials with bacon will be available.

Daveylove, host of the nationally-syndicated Modern Problems Radio Show, will broadcast live from the event, which will double as his “Bacon Coming Out Party.”

Read’s the invite:

For the past 10 months Daveylove has been a vegetarian and has not eaten bacon … Crazy I know! He has just recently decided to introduce some meat back into his diet and now it is time for BACON. Please join us at Acoustic Cafe, which by the way, is the fifth year anniversary of Will & Larissa’s ownership, for food, drinks and share in the moment as Daveylove eats loaded mashed potato pizza topped with yummy delicious bacon from Fire Engine Pizza Co.

Acoustic Cafe is located at 2926 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport. Fire Engine Pizza Co. is situated right next door, at 2914 Fairfield Ave.
