Stamford’s Annie Nirschel playing Bartlett Arboretum

annie_room2Stamford’s Annie Nirschel will be in concert at the Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens on Sunday, beginning at 5 p.m. as part of the site’s summer concert series.

Nirschel, who released her first album last year, will be performing original songs, as well as covers of popular folk and pop classics.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets and stretch out along the great lawn. Admission is $10.

Nirschel also is featured on a new CD, “Rocking For Freedom,” having contributed two songs to the compilation.

Earlier in the day, at 10 a.m., Trevor Babb will perform classical and flamenco guitar as part of the arboretum’s classical concert series.
